Christmas Styling

22 Dec 2015

You’ve got to add a Hurricane lamp or two…. Add the perfect touch of drama and depth to your Christmas table (or mantle) this year with a feature Hurricane lamp. The warm glow of candlelight is a simple addition to your Christmas landscape that will ensure an inviting atmosphere for family and friends alike. The Boston or Epernay Hurricane lamps from Gloria Linen and Home are just perfect for this purpose and look gorgeous with a plump pillar candle complete with walnuts, pinecones or greenery cradling its base. Keep in mind pinecones are highly flammable so look for a realistic battery operated pillar candle instead of a naked flame.

Tip: Why not save your pennies for the Christmas pudding this year and create your own battery operated pillar candle instead? Simply light a large wax candle, hold upside down over an old rag or paper wipe and allow the melted wax to drip out until you have a small hollow that will fit a cost effective battery operated tea light inside.

Merry Christmas to all of my special clients and dear friends. Thank you for your tireless support and belief. Wishing each and everyone of you an awe inspiring 2016!

Joyeux Noël!
