Wired For Sound

With this powerful quote in mind and a defunct sound system in place at home I queried close friends this past week as to how music affects the world around them.

It is quite amazing how many cherished memories and special moments they all have that are represented by a particular song or invoked upon hearing a familiar tune on the radio or their personal playlist.

It has been proven scientifically numerous times over that music affects various parts of the brain stimulating significant and specific neural activity   in crucial areas aiding functions such as focus, memory and sleep to name a few.

Music alone has enabled many stroke and brain injury victims to gain the ability to communicate again using music and sound to sing their sentences when speech is gone and re train the brain.

With this great knowledge in mind why am I letting a tired old cable operated sound system dictate where and when my cerebral senses are engaged when there are so many cool audio gadgets on the market?

So today I went Bluetooth and shouted myself the coolest rubber moulded speaker in white that will not only fill my world with music wherever I go but will sit inconspicuously and elegantly in any area of the home or garden!

This wireless, battery snubbing baby will allow me to tackle mundane tasks all over the house dancing and singing my way through life and housework like a guest star on a Gold Coast episode of Glee!
